New & Future Development
We intend to become the leading supplier of Management Information Systems to the independent school sector both in the UK
and internationally. We are very fortunate that we already partner with some of the most successful schools in the world and
we intend to continue developing our products driving both iSAMS and our clients forward.
Our continued success will come from being the only supplier able to offer the whole range of products that independent
schools desire. Currently, schools have to purchase these various products from several suppliers and these systems are
normally standalone which requires more management time and cost. iSAMS plan to create a complete suite of products enabling
any school to run the most comprehensive management system in the world, with the unique benefit of only having to deal with
one supplier.
We have been approached by a number of UK State Schools. At present we are continuing to grow the independent market
place but it is our intention is to create a slightly different version of iSAMS that would be more suited to State Schools.
We believe that the State Sector will benefit from the features that iSAMS offer. We are recognising unprecedented success in
our current market and see no reason why iSAMS would not receive the same success in other markets.
Detailed below is a list of modules that are ready for release or will be released in the near future:
Room & Resource Booking
Manage all the schools resources. Book social events, manage summer schools, book catering, book equipment, book rooms and book staff.
This is all managed through a robust booking and alert system that automatically sends SMS & emails to the various departments.
This module is also linked to the Timetable, Intranet, Daily Bulletin, Estates Manager, Academic Database, School Calendar and
Personal Calendaring.
Personal Calendaring
Further to the existing Calendar Manager, Personal calendaring will allow all staff the ability to incorporate their own personal
calendar within the main school calendar. It can be shared or made private and can be split into departments to be shared with
specific colleagues.
Interactive Desktops
This module enables staff and users to create their own interactive desktop. Each user will be able to customise their own front
end of iSAMS and pull in links to certain areas of the MIS that are of interest and turn off the sections that are not.
Development & Fund Raising
All of the Alumni information is stored within iSAMS so it is just a natural progression that we will introduce an Alumni suite.
A large number of existing schools have requested that iSAMS creates this facility. This module will allow development officers
to manage events, marketing and fund raising. Because the iSAMS system is a single database, the school will hold information on
the pupils and their families from when they first registered to when they leave. The Alumni office will have access to the pupils'
academic and extra curricular records as well as any communication that was ever sent to the parents or pupils whilst they were at school.
It will be the most comprehensive development suite on the market.
Alumni Portal
iSAMS already supply pupils with a Student Portal. The logical progression is an Alumni Portal. Alumni will have access to
their complete academic record, their extra curricular records and they will gain access to the various networking communities
that are available to Alumni. The iSAMS Alumni Portal will be able to offer former pupils a unique way of staying in touch with
their school as well as their fellow pupils.
Library Manager
iSAMS has a complete academic profile for every child - it is another module that we plan to create to enable schools to reduce
these various standalone products. Every child will have a "Library Section" in their profile which reports and tracks the books
taken from the Library.
