Data Transfer

Your school's data is the focal point of an iSAMS system. We will help you throughout the data transfer process making sure it is correct, accurate and easily updatable. iSAMS has its own import and export facilities which are easy to use and very powerful. Some schools may have a specialist requirement or they simply do not have the time to complete the data migration. At iSAMS, we are happy to manage this for you, ensuring that you get the best out of your existing data when moving to iSAMS.

Moving from another school database gives the school a great opportunity to cleanse the data prior to importing it into iSAMS. Data comes in all shapes and sizes and can sometimes be hard to manage. iSAMS have moved schools from an array of systems and can deal with any form of data transfer that is required. We work closely with schools before importing the final version of the data.  We have a rigorous data import policy involving several layers of importing and testing to ensure your data is how you need it.

The iSAMS database is well structured and schools have full access to the data, enabling easy extraction of the data from any field within the system. We have designed iSAMS so that data is readily accessible to those who have access - after all it is your data.
