Migration from a Commercial System

There are many reasons why a school would decide to change their current system and supplier.  At iSAMS, we have experience in migrating from all of the major systems on the market.

iSAMS is the only 100% browser-based system that is hosted within the school's infrastructure. A number of schools now want a web-based platform so that they can use the system from home as well as in school - we are talking to a large number of schools that seek this level of functionality.

A large number of our competitor's products have been designed for state day schools and as a result, do not offer the features required to run a "7 day a week" school, as well as cope with weekly or full boarding requirements. We have moved a large number of schools away from state based products such as SIMS and CMIS.

There is very little requirement on iSAMS to add specific features when moving a school from an existing commercial product. Schools will often find that iSAMS already offers more functionality and features, allowing our new schools to quickly take advantage of the numerous facilities delivered as standard in iSAMS.

We work very closely with the school and have a hands-on approach when it comes to moving schools away from their current system. The vast majority of our clients have moved away from an alternative commercial system and we have migrated a number of schools from the following products.
