Starting From Scratch

There are still a large number of schools that do not use a commercial product and their systems consist of Excel spreadsheets, Access databases, card index boxes and filing cabinets.  At iSAMS, we believe the browser-based nature and the intuitive design of our system puts iSAMS in a perfect position to be able to offer a seamless transition from a paper based system to a computerised one.

iSAMS has been designed from the ground up with the end user in mind.  This translates to a very limited training requirement for members of staff to use the system. iSAMS is designed so that all staff members use the system daily and that it is not just the responsibility of the school's administrators and secretaries to keep the information up to date. Schools that use iSAMS often have 40 staff members logged in at any one time during the day.

Schools that do not have a computerised system can find themselves at an advantage with a clean slate from which to begin. These schools can introduce the system to the various departments and stakeholders and from day one, they can utilise the whole system and implement a school wide management information system that incorporates all staff and all departments.
