Training
Administrator Training
Administrator training is included as a part of the iSAMS implementation
process. It is half a day’s training for the school’s chosen administrator(s). The
administrator training is designed to show the users how to maintain and look after your iSAMS system. We cover system security, creating user accounts, setting up access rights, setting up external access, disabling accounts, adding custom fields, editing the database etc.
We work very closely with the school’s system administrators and make sure we are always available to offer additional support
that may be required in the early stages of an implementation.
In-house Training
iSAMS is the most intuitive MIS on the market. It is this fact that has
enabled some of our clients to manage their own training within school. iSAMS will work with the school and help design the in-house training and provide
quick reference guides.
It is encouraging and a testament to how intuitive iSAMS is when a school decides to do their own training in-house. We are only too happy to provide all the support required in helping schools deliver a professional training programme.
On-site Training
We can arrange bespoke training days where our trainers visit a school and offer training for the various different users of the system, from Exams Officers, Timetablers, Secretaries, Registrars as well as the whole teaching faculty.
These training sessions can be arranged for specific modules for specific users
such as the Exams Manager module with the school’s Examinations Officer.
We offer half day and full day training. Being internet-based, iSAMS is in the
unique position to be able to offer training in school or, if more suitable, at our Northampton Head Office,
whilst still using your system and data. We also offer one-to-one training for new ‘key stakeholder’ staff members or simple refresher sessions if required.
